Beef Tartar

The maid taught Zita that it only takes little things in life to be truly happy.  In return, Zita wanted to show the maid a small part of her splendid and luxurious life and prepared a hearty beef tartar for her. As a sweet finish, Zita made use of the maid’s homemade honey – honey caramel with yogurt-curd was on the menu.

INGREDIENTS

300g      beef tenderloin
10g         capers
2             pickles
1             small onion
1 tbsp     tomato ketchup
1 tsp       mustard

small bunch of chives
salt and pepper

fresh white bread

DIRECTIONS

Preparation

  • cutting board, knife

 

Prepare Ingredients

  • remove tendons from beef and then mince very finely
  • finely chop capers, onion, chives and pickles
  • mix all ingredients in a bowl with ketchup and mustard 

 

Arrange on a Slice of Bread – Serve – Enjoy
